Farmstand Shopkeeper

The Grey Barn is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to fill a full time and/or part time role in our farmstand. We are hiring year-round full-time and part-time in our beautiful, new Farmstand! The Farmstand Shopkeep is responsible for providing excellent customer service, representing The Grey Barn and our products, as well as maintaining floor stock and order of the Farmstand. This position will teach a great deal of product knowledge as well as information about our farm for you to share with our customers.

Farmhand

The Grey Barn is offering an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to fill a full time role on our farm. This person will be responsible for a portion of milking and chore shifts, as well as assisting both the Livestock Manager and Forage and Equipment Manager with various tasks on the farm. As the candidate becomes comfortable in their position there is the opportunity to assume responsibility over some aspect of daily operations on the farm. How that plays out will be based off of the strengths and weaknesses of the employee as well as the needs of the farm.

Barista

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee beverages and tea as well as providing excellent customer service. Baristas are also responsible for set up, breakdown and maintaining coffee equipment as well as ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies.

Veggies & Flowers

This is a full time position from mid-April through September. This position assists the vegetable department with all tasks including but not limited to daily harvesting, washing, planting, weeding, and general maintenance. Our ideal candidate has vegetable farming experience, is a quick learner, pays careful attention to detail, and always finishes what they start. Applicants must be willing to work long hours in any type of weather.
