Tours

May 24th thru Columbus Day we offer several different tours of our farm. It's not summer anymore and so all tours will start again next May. We'd love to have you out to visit us. If you cannot make one of our regularly scheduled events please contact us and perhaps we can set something up that works for you. Please note that you may not want to wear flip flops as cows do tend to poop everywhere!

School Field Trips

Here at The Grey Barn we enjoy sharing the farm with children and their teachers. All ages are welcome to come and we can help to focus the tour on each classroom's individual needs or course of study. In the past we have done:

  • Meet and pet a calf with pre-schoolers.

  • Walk the farm and and learn about how each person's job on the farm is important.

  • We often work with each school's Island Grown School co-ordinator to create a unique experience for each classroom.

  • Homeschoolers have had tours about how cows make milk.

  • If you are interested in scheduling a tour you can contact us or Island Grown Schools.
