Certified organic grass-fed, pasture-raised beef and mother-raised, pastured veal that contain no antibiotics and no added hormones. Our beef and veal are never fed grain. This means that you receive all of the health benefits of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and none of the detriments of grain-fed beef. During the grazing season, the herd munches on our certified organic pastures. For winter feed we make what hay and haylage we can here on the farm and purchase the rest of our needs from other organic farms in New England--we never finish with grain. As a certified organic farm, we never use pesticides and we only fertilize our pastures with our own manure, chicken droppings, raw milk and farm-made compost. All of our beef is slaughtered and processed in USDA facilities right here in Massachusetts.
